Sushini

Sushini

Here's a somewhat mild, yet sophisticated tasting cocktail.  For our drink, we've made a simple Wasabi infused Vodka, added some Ginger Vodka, and rounded it out with TY KU Citrus Liqueur and 7-Up.  The Wasabi Vodka gives the cocktail a nice bite, but definitely doesn't overpower the other flavors.  The mild TY KU is actually the star of this delicious drink.  Garnishing the glass with a tasty piece of Sushi, will certainly have your guests smiling.  We hope you enjoy our featured cocktail... Sushini.  Cheers!

Ingredients

2 oz. TY KU
1 oz. Wasabi infused Vodka (you can make this with any Vodka)
2 oz. 7-Up
A piece of Sushi and chopsticks to garnish

Directions

I'm told that there is Wasabi Vodka available, but if you want to make your own, it's very simple.  Use a tspn. of Wasabi for every three oz. of Vodka.  Stir well, and let sit for at least several hours (I let mine infuse for 24 hrs).  When done, strain through a coffee filter to remove any chunks of Wasabi.  Now that you have your Wasabi Vodka, add it, the Ginger Vodka, and the TY KU to an ice filled cocktail shaker.  Cover, shake well, and then add the 7-Up, and stir.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass, and garnish by laying a piece of Sushi across two chopsticks.  It takes a little time, but it's simple to put together, and certainly worth the effort.  Give it a try, our featured cocktail... Sushini.  Bottoms up!
