Salted Caramel Martini

Salted Caramel Martini
On a recent adventure through the liquor store, I happened across a bottle of Pinnacle Salted Caramel Vodka.  Need I say more...  It was just one of those flavors that I had really wanted to try, and I knew that with a couple of liquid co-stars, we had the making of another delicious libation.  Though the name of this cocktail is well deserved, the subtle Baileys Creme Caramel definitely shares the spotlight.  We hope that you'll enjoy our featured cocktail... Salted Caramel Martini.  Cheers!
2 oz. Half & Half
Tbsp. of Caramel (Smucker's)
1 Caramel square (Kraft)
Pinch of coarse (Margarita) salt...(optional)
To prepare the glass, rim a chilled Martini glass through about a Tbsp. of Caramel.  Take a heated blade and melt a groove in the Caramel square, and slide onto the rim of your glass.  If you want (for looks and taste), put a pinch of coarse salt on the Caramel square.  For the cocktail, combine the two spirits and the Half & Half in an ice filled cocktail shaker.  Cover, shake well, and strain into your glass.  It's rather simple to build, and the contrast of the sweet Caramel, with the hint of saltiness, makes this a cocktail that you'll want to try.  Bottoms up, to the... Salted Caramel Martini.  Indulge!
