Marshmallow World Martini
This cocktail is a little tribute to the tune made most famous by the legendary, Dean Martin. As far as Christmas crooners, I think that Dean would be on the Mount Rushmore of many people... certainly mine. The cocktail is a seasonal blend of Marshmallow Vodka, Whipped Cream Vodka, and Eggnog, and is adorned with festive sprinkles and toasted Marshmallows. 3 oz. Eggnog (unspiked)
1 tbsp. Marshmallow Topping (Smuckers)
1 tsp. Green Sprinkles (cake decorating aisle)
1 tsp. Red Sprinkles
5 Miniature Marshmallows
Reddi-whip (whipped cream)
To prepare your glass, put the Marshmallow topping in a saucer, and rub the rim of a chilled Martini glass through it to coat the rim. In another saucer, put the Red Sprinkles on one side, and the Green on the other. Then tap the coated rim back and forth between the two colors. To toast the Marshmallows, I put them in a pie tin and used a long lighter to give them a little singe. For the drink, simply put the 2 spirits and the Eggnog in an ice filled cocktail shaker, cover, and shake well. Lastly, strain the cocktail into your glass, add the Whipped Cream, drop in the toasted Marshmallows, and add some of the leftover Red and Green Sprinkles over the drink.
