Hawaiian Punch

Hawaiian Punch

Hawaiian Punch fruit punch was created in 1934, and was originally used as an ice cream topping.  Once people found out how well it tasted when mixed with water, things really took off.  I'm not sure if the creator of this cocktail was trying to mimic the flavor of its namesake, but they did manage to concoct a great tasting, fruity drink that goes down fast.  Too fast!  It's simple to put together, and sure to please.  We hope that you enjoy our featured cocktail... Hawaiian Punch.  Cheers!

Ingredients

1 oz. Rum
1 oz. Amaretto
1.5 oz. Orange Juice
1.5 oz. Pineapple Juice
.5 oz Grenadine
Cherry and/or Pineapple chunk to garnish

Directions

Combine all of the ingredients (except the Grenadine) into an ice filled cocktail shaker.  Cover, shake well, and pour into a Collins glass.  Top with the Grenadine, garnish accordingly, insert a long straw, and get ready to be pleasantly "punched" with the delicious... Hawaiian Punch.  Bottoms up!
